Roc began working as a professional actor over 40 years ago. He started his journey as a student at The Goodman School of Drama in Chicago in the late 70's. Eventually, he made his way to Los Angeles where he continued studying and working professionally. Among his several teachers and workshops was his mentor and most influential teacher, the award-winning stage and film director, Milton Katselas.
Roc's first professional performance was as a soldier in The Bolshoi Ballet's production of Romeo & Juliet at The Arie Crown Theatre. Roc’s credits in plays, television, and feature films number in the dozens. He could be seen regularly on soap operas like The Bold & The Beautiful and The Young & The Restless. Additionally, he is a recipient of The Los Angeles Weekly Theatre Award for Outstanding Comedy Performance.
Roc performed with many accomplished professionals such as: John Ashton, Robert Blake, Dan Butler, Nancy Cartwright, Robert Conrad, Joe Cortese, Tony Denison, Tim DeZarn, Anne Dowd, Carl Kurlander, Jonathon Rhys Meyers, Greg Mullavey, Michael Rooker, Joe Santos, Al Sapienza, Pam Segall, Casey Siemaszko, Carol Ann Susi, Berlinda Tolbert, Nick Vallelonga, and Red West among many more.
He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists/Actor's Equity Association.
